Dragons have accepted Kings into its society, and instead of purely challenges the crown is passed to the oldest heir. Challenges between siblings and parents are few and far between, but not fully gone from history.

Prince Alaska's life is perfect, or so it seems. His father, the king, is cruel and cold with little to no tolerance for mistakes. His mother, the queen, shall not be mentioned. His powers, not his anymore. His duties, to his crown. His life, in the talons of his father.

But when a dragon opens his eyes to the beauty of life and what it could be, Alaska's world is turned upside down by frozen truths and twisted lies.

NOTE: The following is a fanfiction inspired by Tui T Sutherland's "Wings of Fire" saga. "Wings of Fire" does not belong to me, and most of the material included in this story is fanon, not canon, though there will be several canon characters making appearances throughout the story. This book is a little outdated and will be getting a rewrite soon! ------------------ Fighting, dragons were always fighting in the Rainforest. Not physically, but verbally. The Rainforest Kingdom was being torn apart by its residents. The RainWing's and NightWing's. Queen Dandelion and King Palmtree are doing nothing to calm down their tribe, so, someone else has to. Lavender is an seven year old dragonet who belongs to both tribes. She's a hybrid, born from her RainWing mother and NightWing father. Her life is wonderful, at least in her family and small village close to the edge of the Rainforest. But, she's starting to notice the change within everyone, as if they know something is coming, something bad. Lavender wants to keep her kingdom safe, just like all dragons do, but she also wants to keep everyone connected and stop them from being torn apart. Will she be able to fix the ties that brought the RainWing's and NightWing's together? Or will they be split apart and she'll be stuck between torn sides. ------------------------ The Wings of Fire series is written by Tui T.
