Y/n's birth mother, Mae Cobalt never went to her husband's and daughter's work space so when Ben began testing serum on himself for Project Pegasus she took Y/n at the ripe old age of 10 and out her up for adoption where she would stay safe from her infected father. Poor girl saw the effects of her father going insane. No wonder she's mute.
