For many, many centuries Angels have roamed the Earth with many, many heroic responsibilities. They shan't question nor go against these responsibilities. For many, many more centuries there have been demons - so cruel of nature indeed - roaming. The whole reason the Angels were created. Alia is a half-blood angel who is unlike the average angel - moulded into perfection - is rude, disobedient, rebellious, you name. Devon is a full blood demon who is a kind bookworm and doesn't want to hurt anyone on sight like his parents. The two opposites have to spend a whole semester together when they are assigned to do a school project together. Soon enough, they discover others secrets and find out that neither of them are ready for their future responsibilities.

She asked. "Because I find you endearing." "Why?" Desperate? Damn straight. Loved up? Beyond recognition. Prepared to rip anybody and everybody's throat out at any given moment for looking at her wrong? Absolutely. Claudio had waited far too long for his mate. Nothing was getting in the way of their forever. Not life. Not death. Certainly not a war that she'd be heading. "Because I've waited a long time for this. I'm going to explain to you what it means to be a... mate."
