The Doctor was investigating the Nestene Consciousness and possibly a potential companion. Then he gained a different interest, Rose Tyler's new tater-tot obsessed friend who seems to not be quite human and seems to know what he is.

They were tired of how little recognition the Doctor is given. They were tired of how Loki gets judged over something he had no control over. They were tired of how Tony gets treated. They were tired of how Eddie and Annika are treated for being Klyntars.
