Crystal's story is like any other teenager's. If that meant any other teenager is an orphan living with her abusive uncle who would rather be anywhere but looking after her. And who occasionally makes things happen without meaning to.
Crystal has always known something was different about her, but she's never been able to put her finger on what it was.
Crystal has always been the type of girl to keep to herself, which isn't entirely her fault. Crystal's uncle has been her primary guardian since her parents died in an explosion in their lab when she was only three. Crystal's parents were scientists at the Toronto Crystal Lab Diagnostics or TCLD. When Crystal turned five, her uncle unleashed his anger on her, and when she turned ten, that abuse went from physical to sexual.
She has had to deal with her uncle beating her during the day and going into her bed at night to rape her for almost seven years now. She was too scared to fight it the first time it happened, as she was asleep at first, but when she woke up, she stayed there frozen. The first time Crystal tried to stop him, he hit her and forced her until she couldn't stop him. Since then, she has made fewer attempts to try and stop him.
Crystal is what you would consider a loner. She keeps to herself. People know her as the weird quiet girl who, well, who's just off. When men come into her school looking for her, she doesn't know how to act. And when they take her to a top-secret facility for the specially inclined, she is dumbfounded.
This can't be right. A Mystic? I've only heard about those in fairy-tails, and they're trying to tell me that I need to go with them immediately to this mystic compound? No, thank you. You've got the wrong person. Right?

I was getting ready to start my senior year of high school when my dad was offered a promotion in an ally pack. He was our alpha's younger brother. (In other words my uncle is the Alpha.) My dad did accounting and record keeping for our pack as a delta. One of our ally packs contacted him to be a beta in charge of pack records and accounting. His record keeper and his mate were wanting to retire. His mate was an OB/GYN nurse. My mom was the midwife assistant. She could become the pack midwife. This would mean we would have to move. I wasn't sure I really wanted to move. I loved the art program at my school. We get moved and the first day at the new school I meet my mate and he rejects me. He was the warrior beta's son and I was the record's beta daughter, and he rejects me. Ugh then in front of me he claims the alpha's daughter. I was devastated but I refused to show my emotions to him. The next day at I attend school I am claimed by an alpha as my second chance mate.
