Set 2 months after the events of Advent Children

Because of Cloud Strife's victory against the Remnants and his old nemesis, Geostigma is slowly fading away from the planet of Gaia. The sick are getting cured, and everything is slowly turning back to normal. Everyone is okay... except for Cloud. 

It was supposed to be a normal day. He was just going to finish up deliveries and visit Zack for a minute. But little did he know... that day would change him forever.

His arch-nemesis has returned, and has found a way to bring him to a new world. A world filled with rotten adults and suffering children.

Not only that, his past mistakes and failures are haunting him. Reminding him what it was like to be weak, alone, and unable to save anybody.

That is, until he met a particular group of teenagers.

Now, he must adapt, stay strong, and find a way back to his home as he explores not only deeper within himself, but along with the worlds of Japan and the Metaverse as not only an ex-mercenary, but as a member of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts.
