"Griffin, babe look at me."

I looked into his honey brown eyes.

"This whole thing about not telling me what's been happening at your home because you didn't want to bother me with your problems..."
He paused holding my cheek briefly.
"I'm here for you and I need you to trust me. Don't let other people push that mindset onto you, yeah just because others may have it worse doesn't mean that your problems and position don't matter. There's always gonna be someone who has it worse or better than you. Your struggles matter, and they will never ever be a burden to me or anyone. So please tell me what's going on." Aster spoke so calmly while holding my fore arms as we sat on the floor facing each other.

I sighed. "You're really hot when you're like that." I breathed swallowing the lump in my throat. "Like what?" He asked puzzled. "When you're yourself." I said with a slight smirk.

"Did you hear anything I just said?" He asked while his cheeks flushed and he tried holding back a big grin. "Totally...repeat that again? Something about me trusting you and my problems matter?" I said with sarcasm in my voice. "What the hell you want from me? Money? Girl Scout cookies? You've already got my heart what else do you want?" he said dramatically flailing his arms in the air.

"I want a damn nap." I said standing up. Before he got a chance to reply I gripped his black hair at the back of his head. Pulling his head back to look up at me, I bent down gave him a rough kiss. I pinched his cheek and walked to his bedroom. He followed soon after.
I'll just say...
