It's a scene I'm used looking at to. I won't say it's mesmerizing though.

As the narrator, I'm tempted to simply write "Middle Finger" because that is essentially what you'll feel like I'm giving you in telling this story. However, for the sake of not being a complete dick, I'll write a little more than just a description of a disrespectful gesture. This story can aptly be described as crude and deranged. As you may have surmised, a crazy person will be telling this story, and the characters involved are indeed also all crazy in their own special ways. So, given this exercise in mental illness, the topics touched on (in no particular order) in this tale are destruction, death, superpowered wackos, torture, pain, loneliness, chaos, the will to survive, never giving up, giving up and not giving a shit, the desire to protect, failing to protect and causing more trouble than was already present, disappointing and/or abusive parental figures, bullies, unjust punishments, just punishments, racism, violent and usually superpowered fights, sci-fi gadgets, bitterness, sarcasm, twisted and demented comedy, control or lack thereof, weird and awkward high school drama, lies and brainwashing, alien aggression, moral ambiguity, unhinged villains, fantastical weapons, a piece of shit main character, conditional friendship, a fuck load of musical references, anger, fear, depression, extra-dimensional creatures, godly powers, various esoteric connections, pop culture references, and of course, in general, superpowers.

This is a novel about a topic we technically made up randomly and if there are any mistakes, errors, or just places I could fix and add more details please tell me, I want to make this book enjoyable and exciting to read! Also please be aware that some of these will be notice's and this book does need and have a blood warning and a swear warning! Please do be aware if you can't deal with blood this book does get descriptive (Partly true) and I will be explaining what scars, burns and wounds look like and the pain felt for them. This book is more themed in the future than it is nowadays. You may also find some technology that is more futuristic, and there are things talking about the past. Most of the book is switching between views of the main characters. We want you to expect the unexpected in this book, for example: Most books don't kill off the main character, we want you to think we will kill off one of them. Most of the characters in this will have birthdays and age in the background and it may not be written. There will be more books coming out so we will end this one on a cliffhanger.

But that all changes when a client charges him with looking after a young girl. - I wrote this a few years ago, thought I'd give it a whirl online. It's pretty short, not quite novel worthy, but enough to get the job done, I think. And yes, this is basically The Last of Us, but with wolves (mostly different, but the plot is very similar). If I ever write a sequel, I can assure you it will be nothing like the actual sequel.

When you're marked you have two choices; fight or die. Nance lives in the past, literally. Her city is a recreation of early twenty-first century society. To the outside world they're experiments, just rats running around a maze. In an impoverished future world, the city seems to be their only chance of finding where they went wrong, or so they say. Nance doesn't know the real purpose of her home, and she doesn't care. All she sees are the one hundred teenagers, just like her, who are killed every year in the barbaric ritual known as the marking. They tattoo your face and pit you against your peers, against the city. Nance doesn't know why, but it doesn't matter, because she's sixteen and it's her turn to be marked. **So I decided to replace the original story with the rewrite because they are pretty much exactly the same. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.
