The three Imladris brothers Elladan, Elrohir and Estel embark on a journey to eastern Rhovanion. On their way through the dark forest, a lot goes wrong, which is why the king's son and the ranger go on a rescue mission, but here too not everything goes smoothly, so that the Elven king himself has to intervene to the rescue. Will they survive it and return home safely, or will this trip change their lives forever?

Legolas receives a strange letter from Aragorn asking him to meet in Imladris. But something happens on the road and Legolas and his captain, Thaladir, discover something disturbing about the new enemy. Something that could take them, Aragorn, and others as far as the Mines of Moria.
