Michelle "Mickey" Hopper has a lot of problems. An alcoholic father ignoring the loss of his youngest daughter, her sister, Sarah. A manipulative boyfriend who keeps convincing her to come back to him. A drug addiction she's keeping from nearly everyone in her life. And now, her friend Barb is missing and she's being drawn into a world of vanished children and mysterious monsters.
