Eleanor's senior year of high school was like every other one. Lonely, boring, and filled with empty dreams. She kept to her self after learning that getting close with people and opening up only leads to pain. Eleanor focuses on her studies........and tries to stay away from her crazy ex.

Dawson is a transfer student from Romania who catches everyones attention with his amazing looks and cocky attitude. There is a level of mysteriousness to him though, he is one with a dark past.

Eleanor catches Dawson's eye, despite the many girls yearning for his attention, through a run it where Eleanor works. They notice that they cross each others path during the day more than once, and Eleanor can't seem to escape her feelings of wanting to be wanted, especially by a man named Dawson
