A story where when your little you get a necklace. Up until your 18 its a normal temperature. When you hit 18 it turns a certain temperature unless it turns black if it turns black it means you haven't met your soulmate yet. If its pink you have. The colder the necklace is the more distant you are with your soulmate, for example if its really cold it means your soulmate hates you or dislikes you. It could be really dangerous for it to be cold, It could effect happiness.. When the necklace is warm it means your close to your soulmate. That has no effect, no one else can feel the temperature except you and your soulmate... How do you know if you've met your soulmate? Well when your near/touching your soulmate the pink will flash. In this society, everyone has a soulmate. And the way to find yours is just look. Along with a soulmate, everyone has a small tattoo on their cheek with a symbol. Some could be a star, a flower, a yinyang, a fish, or even waves. There are so many people that the symbols are almost limitless. The tattoos don't care about gender or number. There could be gay matches, and there could even be polyamorous matches. The tattoos will tingle when you are near to your sm.
