The inspiration for this book came from the viral animated web series "Murder Drones", and I pondered what the characters would experience after the pilot episode. The book is quite lengthy, but I assure you that it's worth the read. The story delves into dark and intense themes that will leave you thinking about them long after you finish reading. The characters in the book are well-developed and add reasons to some things we do know from the series that weren't given any clear explanation yet, adding depth to the plot. While the book is inspired by the show, I took it in a different direction that's entirely my own, well somewhat connected with the original series. Worker Drones work for humans on an "exo-planet", particularly being property of JCJenson (IN SPAAAAACE!). However, when the humans accidentally render themselves extinct after blowing up the planet's core, it sends the planet into a winter-like apocalypse. The Worker Drones began to gain sentience and settle on the planet in the human's stead, though this causes JCJenson to send "Murder Drones", officially known as "Disassembly Drones," to kill all Worker Drones. As the Murder Drones begin to build a literal tower of corpses, the remaining Worker Drones hide underneath the ice and behind blast doors built by Uzi's father, Khan. In the present, Uzi harbors dreams of saving the planet and gaining her father's respect by killing the Murder Drones, thus allowing the Worker Drones to live in peace. However, in this particular scenario, she'll meet a quite interesting and special drone in her scouting for materials for her sick-as-hell Railgun.
