Thirteen years after the downfall of the Van der Linde gang, the former outlaws continue to find safety in their new and inconspicuous lives. Relieved after abolishing Micah Bell from the equation and continuing on with their lives, new problems arise - as well as stretch to sea when the former band of outlaws seeks refuge in an old friend - Josiah Trelawny.
Once in England, their relief is short-lived when the Pinkerton Detective Agency has caught wind of their trail - a new assistant to Edgar Ross, Archer Fordham.
