At Shiniell University, a prestigious institution known for its academic excellence, Professor Vivian Madison stands as a pillar of discipline and intellect. Renowned for her strict demeanor and uncompromising academic standards, she is both respected and feared by her students. Yet behind her sharp presence lies an undeniable allure-an elegance and quiet intensity that captivates those around her. Though often labeled the "heartless professor," there exists a hidden depth to her, a mystique that draws others closer despite her intimidating facade. Meanwhile, Scarianna Eleanor Anderson shines as a celebrated figure within the campus community. Exceptionally intelligent and effortlessly charismatic, she carries herself with a confidence that commands attention the moment she enters a room. Strikingly beautiful and unapologetically bold, Scarianna leaves a lasting impression wherever she goes. She is admired, envied, and revered in equal measure. For a long time, Scarianna believed she had fully embraced her identity-secure in who she was and the life she was leading. But a chance encounter begins to stir something within her, unsettling the clarity she once held. Like a gentle breeze shifting the course of a still lake, love arrives quietly, challenging her to reconsider everything she thought she knew about herself. She is faced with a choice: to remain as she always was or to embrace the unknown and discover who she truly is beneath the surface. Inside the four walls of a Shiniell classroom, where chalk dust holds both questions and quiet feelings, the story of Vivian and Scarianna begins-like two pages slowly unfolding in the same book, discovering their truth between lessons, glances, and the soft hum of something unspoken. ✎ᝰ. I don't get why kids believe in fairytales. Like why would Cinderella's shoes fell when it perfectly fits her in the first place? How dumb is Snow White to eat an apple from a creepy old lady in the woods? Why do most of them have to wear fancy gowns? And why do these fairytales fool kids into believing that "to live happily ever after" is real? It turns out I was a fool too. My fairytale is not about wearing gowns, nor being a princess, nor having an evil stepmother and ugly sisters. But it's all about fantasizing what things could be with someone I liked too much. I don't care if we are not living in a castle nor flying in a carpet like Jasmine and Aladdin, I just want a simple coffee date with red roses and a simple "good morning" notification the moment I wake up. How fool is it to realize that I am twice dumber than those kids who believe in magic? How fool am I to fantasize "happy ever after" when he didn't even know me in the first place? How fool am I to dream about what could've been when THERE WAS NEVER US?
