Jared Simon has trust issues, and that's mainly due to his screwed up family. Charlotte Alpin has always been known as the brilliant over-achiever, and now she spends every waking, and non-waking, moment living up to it. Even though he has his empty-headed conquests and she has her incessant dance hours, they both have the same true escape: books.

Never expecting to see each other after their first encounter, Charlotte and Jared are both surprised to find they will be attending the same high school. However, being put together for their elective Event-Planning, they soon find out the trials and errors of working with equally broken people and they know they can't escape... so they'll have to fill in the blank space.
