A new family move into New York, for Kanan's new job as a police officer, and meet a scruffy teenage pickpocket who has been living of the streets for almost eight years. 

Even though the only thing Ezra has ever wanted, since his parents murder, is a loving family, he is afraid that his secret of his past, and how he survived, will slip loose, and that this secret could end up putting this new family in grave danger.

They are trying to rescue wookies, but the mission goes wrong. The captain, Hera sends Ezra to warn Kanan, Zeb, Sabine, and Chopper. They all successfully make it out, except for Ezra. Zeb leaves him behind and the crew never comes back for him. Ezra manages to escape on his own, but his trust in people no longer exists. Some time later, Ezra meets up with the crew yet again. (So this story is from Spark of Rebellion, but the crew doesn't go back for Ezra.)

In this story, I created a character that's Zeb's wife and her name is Luna and she is pregnant with Zeb's child. Luna already looks nine months pregnant and doesn't know when the baby is due, it could be a while like a year, because that what happens in Zeb's species, (I actually don't know if that's true or not, but I'm doing it anyways.) the women look nine months pregnant. Luna met Zeb when Kanan saved Zeb and her and Zeb fell in love, got married, and now Luna is pregnant. Luna looks up to Kanan like a father because Kanan took Luna in when she was very young and was on the streets. Kanan treats Luna like his own daughter and he took care of her.
