Veronica Steven's, better known as Roni, is a complicated girl with a complicated relationship towards life. When a successful bioweapon attack leads to the complete destruction of civilization and a new, daily threat of demise, she begins to develop a newfound feeling towards living. Having no choice but to always think about finding the next meal, the next safe shelter, has managed to mostly erase the way her old life had turned her to almost nothing, physically and mentally. Ultimately she learns that she is surprisingly well adept to a world where the average, healthy, sound minded adult is not so fortunate. Where others falter, she can often thrive. Roni Stevens, well, she knows how to survive.
