After being separated for 5 years Gon's mental health has declined, leaving him with hallucinations and delusions. Gon one day happens to bump into Killua and the both of them catch up. They both, later on, meet with Kurapika and Leorio. They plan to spend the holidays with each other and enter a New Year! Gon however thinks he won't be around for the year to come. Will their friends be able to figure it out before it happens?

But one day, they found a little girl on the curb, who ran away from her abusive parents. Gon and Killua took her in, until they found her a new home. ----- I was initially going to make this a trilogy, but never got around to making it. I lost motivation. I've always dreamed of being transported into one of my favorite anime worlds. But getting thrown headfirst-literally-into the Hunter x Hunter universe? Not exactly what I had in mind. One second, I was chilling in my room, and the next, I was crash-landing onto a ship headed for the Hunter Exam. Now, I'm stuck with a bunch of future Hunters, trying not to embarrass myself (or die) in a world where danger lurks around every corner. With Gon's optimism, Kurapika's sharp tongue, Leorio's... well, Leorio-ness, and Killua's smug (but attractive) smirk, and also the way he looks like he's gonna snap my neck in a second whenever I get too close to Gon.
