Emery's an entirely normal seventeen-year-old with an entirely normal life, until a stranger shows up just to stare at her . . . and stare . . . and stare. Then the really weird things start happening: a friend vanishes into thin air, warriors and antlered monsters battle in the woods, and a druid takes up residence in Emery's mother's she-shed. When the staring stranger begins making outrageous claims about a relationship they couldn't possibly share, the girl is forced to figure out whether her life is more myth and magic than she'd ever realized.

*This is a trilogy. The second and third installments are also available on Wattpad! This trilogy pulls heavily from the Ulster Cycle of Celtic myth. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Mongrel, half-breed, dirty grub. Nyani's been called all these things, and she's about to earn a few more epithets. Banshee, spy, and liar, for a start. Her people stand on the brink of extinction. Her father and her lover are dead at the hands of her enemy - and her mother has lied to her all her life. If she wants her revenge, she will have to change the course of history. Ancient history. To do that, her only choice is to cross the mysterious Way Stones. Forced to unite with a self-exiled warchief in her quest against a mad druid and their common enemy, ties she has yet to discover bind the young widow to them both. As she is caught up in a web of secrets and betrayal, fueled by ambition and jealousy, she is torn between her desire for revenge and her need to belong somewhere - even this world. But Nyani's choices threaten to destroy the people she loves, including the one she comes to love most of all. For there are other forces to contend with. Forces that come from far beyond the Seventh Gate. And a mysterious foreign trader knows far more about those than he's telling. Then again, nobody is telling anyone the truth. *** Inspired by the great love stories and tragedies nestled in the pre-historic roots of Arthurian legend and Celtic mythology, the series follows a relationship across the course of a lifetime, set against a backdrop of worlds at war within themselves, and with each other.

"I only have one request if you're going to keep me in suspense all day long." "What's that?" The movement of her lips drew his eyes down. "Let me kiss you again?" That voice, breathy and low, set Taly's heart racing. His lips twitched at the corners-he could hear it. Now that he could use his magic, he knew exactly the kind of effect he was having on her. But he didn't move. He waited. Her choice. She set the pace. Taking a shaky breath, she jerked her head. Yes. *** Magic marked her for suffering. Magic will save her. Magic will lead her home. 𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙄𝙄 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝙁𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 When saving the world turns out to be an even harder task than Phoenix and his friends anticipated, they pin their last hopes on their enemy. Not just any enemy, either, but the real culprit behind Gold fever and the one who just weeks ago wanted Phoenix dead and cold. Aspen is facing the consequences of his actions and trying to cope with the weight of them. Which, just like saving the world, is easier said than done. Especially as in the midst of it all, at the worst possible moment, he starts to catch feelings for the guy he was meant to want dead and cold. Oh, and there is a slight chance he isn't alone with his feelings. Aspen is, as the word goes, gorgeous after all, and it isn't like there are many options around to choose from when the world still thinks you're its enemy number one. But. (And there's always a but.) Their time is running out. Will Aspen be able to cure Phoenix, who still remains part of the key to saving the world, before Gold fever steals him away? Before lucid dreams become their only way to be together?"
