Tails and Fangs

When two kids from a two entirely different species cross paths and instead of fighting each other, they become friends. But both their species encourage them to fight, since they will be the next leaders. Will they remain friends and become something more or will they become enemies and fulfill what they're parents wanted them to accomplish?
