In a world where it teetering on the brink of corruption and self-destruction, where the only to weed such rotten weeds is to cut it until nothing remains, as a civil war had taken forth between the government and the revolution and where an assassination organization known as Night Raid have gone out of their way to eliminate such corruption, sometimes the method itself need to be more thorough than before... 

And while the Empire is busy handling against the Revolutionary Army, Night Raid and many other threats outside, a new faction have suddenly appeared and has done more than what the Empire's greatest enemies has ever done combined... 

Known as the Brotherhood of Shadows, these mysterious and enigmatic organization has not only gone out of their way to sow terror upon the Empire and kill their enemies in more ways than one but they have also been able to both protect, free and be 'The Ones Who Defend The Weak, Spread The Truth And Kill Without Mercy' like no other... 

But this begs the question... 

Who are they? How did they come along? Who is their leader, Tenebris Hashashin? And the more obvious question is... 

What the hell is he? And why does it seemed like he knows everything?
