there was a murder on the Paris métro in the cover of night. it would be normal if it weren't for the question "who the hell even is René Toureaux?". No one would bother to go to such heights if it was just a nobody. And yet there were no claims for her, no family barging in the police station in tears, not even an id in her purse. All of that could be done by the killer but no witnesses? even if it was night it isn't ever deserted. Nothing quite adds up.
