there was a murder on the Paris métro in the cover of night. it would be normal if it weren't for the question "who the hell even is René Toureaux?". No one would bother to go to such heights if it was just a nobody. And yet there were no claims for her, no family barging in the police station in tears, not even an id in her purse. All of that could be done by the killer but no witnesses? even if it was night it isn't ever deserted. Nothing quite adds up.

I had trouble sleeping that night. I was conflicted. Why would someone be hunting in woods with no game? My mind was telling me not to go back. "Someone was out to get you, why would you go back? There was a gruesome murder in a 5 star hotel in London. The victim was a French lady from a reputed business family in Paris. Scotland Yard started investigation and soon more complications came up. Secret agents from Paris came to London under the instruction from French embassy in London to help the investigation. Things got even complicated as further information revealed that the French lady and her late husband were connected to NGO activities in Syria, and under cover they are providing money to rebels to do revolt against the Syrian government. Both UK and French governments were also involved in those activities. The lady possessed a secret plan to provide arms to the rebels and that got missing from her room. Also, a neighbor in her floor in the same hotel got missing. Couple of days later the dead body of the person was found in another hotel. Scotland Yard pin pointed a person as a killer but later it was found to be a big blunder. The actual killer vanished with the plan keeping the innocent person to be hanged.Complete
