I promised Alex to always be his first kiss of the year as long as both of us are not taken, three years ago. I thought it was no big deal back then it was just a kiss, a peck on the lips to be exact. Oh how wrong fourteen-year-old me was. We were living a normal life, really. I mean, sure, Alex and I still act like 5 year-olds but hey, weird is the new normal right? But then all of that changed when our supposed new years kiss went a little too far than just a peck. I honestly didn't know what to do, and what was to happen when all these shit problems started. All I knew was that this was the start of a whole new chapter of my life that I was not ready to venture into just yet. Roadtrips, memories, fights, breakups, tears, complications, laughters, misadventures, smiles, kisses, hate, and love. Hi, I'm Hailey Winters and this is my one hell of a rollercoaster ride story. ❝We were quite a cliche, weren't we?❞ he smirked but I ignored the pang it spread in my chest. ❝We were. But this is real life. We can't hang on fantasies anymore.❞ ❝Then why can't I forget you?❞ Adult life wasn't as easy as Hailey expected. Her job is ungrattifying, she founds herself being flat mate of her college brother and on top of everything, now Nate Herond, her high school boyfriend who broke her heart five years ago is back. (Kissing Series #2)This is the sequel of 'Just Kissing', I recommend reading the first part but it can easily be ready as a stand-alone.
