But then she meets Annon, a good-looking, sympathetic guy, whom she claims to be her first love - her first brush with love, remarkable and unforgettable. He's the one to teach her about the goodness in goodbyes as her pet dog dies and her family leaves her in the city to move to the province. Little did she know that these goodbyes that she did together with him are preparations to the day when he will leave her, too, ditching her on the Friday night that they both have planned together. She bids him goodbye unintentionally before his disappearance, but when they meet again three years later, will Clio finally be able to say goodbye to her first love... on her own? A real goodbye this time, because after all, a first love must end if it will not actually be the last. -ARCLAIR-

Prologue In the world of college life, words are often thrown around like confetti-light, colorful, and sometimes lacking substance. They say things to fill the silence, to create connections, and to express feelings that often remain hidden beneath the surface. But what happens when those words fall flat? When the promises made in fleeting moments fade into echoes of unfulfilled intentions? This is a story about the complexities of communication and the silent battles fought within relationships. It began with a simple smile exchanged in the midst of chaos during National Pharmacy Week-a moment that seemed inconsequential yet held the weight of possibilities. She found herself drawn to him, captivated by the way he spoke, the way he made her feel. But as she discovered, words alone would not be enough to bridge the gap between us. As their paths intertwined, we danced around each other in a series of unsaid feelings, lingering glances, and an unspoken connection that left her yearning for more. But with every promise unkept, the reality became clearer: words are just that-words. They mean little without the actions to back them up. This is the story of Elle's journey through that realization, a tale of fleeting moments, unfulfilled expectations, and ultimately, the power of choosing clarity over confusion. It's about learning that love is not just spoken; it's demonstrated. And in the end, it was a lesson that would change everything she thought she knew about relationships and herself.
