Maddison Hathaway has a very healthy working relationship with her boyfriend Matthew Lawrence (Matt) for about 2 years, or so she thought.

After coming home from a long day of work as a Tech Engineer, she enters her bedroom only to find her boyfriend Matt with another woman.

She breaks up with him but he doesn't want to let her go. Maddison was ready to start a fresh new life with people who actually cares about her, but that cannot happen because Matt won't stop stalking her.

She files for a restraining order after Matt breaks into her home in the middle of the night, saying that he "fixed the problem". She heads back to work in the middle of the night to keep herself distracted when her awful boss finds her crying and upset, He comforts her and offers to drive her home then buy her breakfast in the morning.

Matt doesn't like the idea of Shane getting close to Maddison, so he does the only thing he could think of.
