Trees blend in every season; on rainy days, they drink; on sunny days, they eat, sustaining their needs as a plant. A certain tree doesn't need to eat nor drink, for it is dead; like any other tree, the leaves surrounding its branches withered and fall to the ground. But not like any other tree, its dead long branches hold 3 gorgeous apples. Precious and shiny, not like the tree itself. The apples may hold on to the dead tree's branches, but people ignore those apples since they come from a dead tree. For the tree said to itself, "For these 3 apples are rotten, only I can tell which one to feed."
