In which: Cassidy June 'Cass' Taylor was the childhood best friend of Chris Vaughn and Ray Templeton. Chris, Cassidy, and Ray aka 'The Dream Team', were inseparable as children and young teens. Until, one day, the realization of adulthood began to set in. Cassidy's parents were adamant about her college admissions, Chris had decided to join the military, and Ray, well, he wasn't quite sure..
The day after Cassidy 's 18th birthday, she moved to Massachusetts for her future at Harvard. Not long after, Chris packed up and headed off to the military. Ray stayed in Ferguson, and began his adult life. The once inseparable trio, had now been permanently separated (or so it seemed).
That is until one day, when both Chris and Cassidy return to Kitsap county. When they return and the two reconnect, they can't help but notice the changes in the town since they've left. Soon after, the pair are visited by their good friend Ray Templeton. When Ray and Cassidy reconnect after all the years apart, they begin to realize that they're falling for each other. Will their relationship be able to withstand the tests they face, or will the relationship crumble under all the newfound corruption. Will Ray and Cassidy finally be together? Or will a certain powerful man with his eye fixed on her keep them apart?
