SMS Kaiser Franz was an ambitious dreadnought project of the Austro-Hungarian Navy. One of the most technologically advanced concepts to be born in her time period, a young one, was designed for the fatherland during the beginning of the 20th century. But the project was ultimately shelved and forgotten for the rest of history.

Yet here she is, somehow born into a world dominated and fought between multiple factions. She doesn't have much of an identity, her only glimpse of memory apart from her history was the word of her drafter. That she was going to be built for glory. Perhaps, the word of her creator isn't completely empty in its meaning after all

Off the coast of Germany, three kansen sisters sailed in the darkness of the night. All three of them struck with curiosity. Following the trail of anomalous signals, they encountered something - unusual. Something that was not supposed to be there. Something seemingly defying all logic. Among the three sisters, one of them was especially affected by the sheer wonder the anomaly seemed to emanate. Anti-Aircraft frigate FGS Hessen, the third and final ship of the Sachsen-class, is among the most advanced kansen the German Navy has to offer. And yet, her curiosity proved to be her mistake. Accidentally getting too close for comfort to the anomaly, she was subsequently pulled in - resulting in her getting separated from her sisters and stranded in a seemingly familiar, but still foreign world - the world of Azur Lane. Stranded in a world where the concepts of modern naval warfare have been turned upside down, will she adapt by utilizing her technological advantage to the fullest and perhaps find a way home - Or will she sink to the bottom of the ocean, forever abandoned in a world not her own? After a long struggle to get his life started, Jacob makes his way to a Naval base known as Azur Lane, made up of the Eagle Union camp and Royal Navy camp. Realizing that his goal matched theirs, he worked with Azur Lane to accomplish his goal. Selfish? Yes, but those in Azur Lane didn't mind considering Jacob's past. A while later, those of the Eagle Union and Royal Navy camps decided to make Jacob their commander, which Jacob agreed to. A while after that, through a bit of struggles, Jacob convinced the Sakura Empire, as well as the Iron Blood camp, to join back with Azur Lane. Their struggle in combatting a deadly force, beings from another world known as Sirens, is not an easy one. Many times has Jacob almost been brought to his knees by them, once when he was only at the age of twelve. These Sirens attacked and destroyed Jacob's village, killing everyone he held dear to him at the time. The reason for this attack is vague, not even Jacob fully knows why the Sirens attacked his village, except for the fact that his father did something to anger the Sirens. Exactly what his father did...is unknown. What's in store for Jacob and Azur Lane? No one knows. Who will win the war? Will it be Azur Lane, through their struggles to rid the Sirens from Earth and claim the seas back from the Sirens, or will the Sirens prevail and conquer Earth, and most likely put an end to humanity as we know it? Find out here in the continuation of "Azur Lane: A Fight Against the Sirens!" *Note, this is book 2 of my Azur Lane series!!* *Disclaimer: I do not own any characters from Azur Lane, nor do I hold claim to any pictures, videos, or music used in this story, for they are claimed by their rightful owners. "Not one step back!" -Admiral of the Fleet Bernard York Lancaster, 2102 Humanity has endured countless calamities in the 21st century, and the transition was only more chaotic. The invasion of the alien species commonly known as "Sirens" [Sirena Alienus] has ushered in a new age; an age of great sacrifice and equally grand valor. While the invasion of the Sirens has united the world in a shared goal ― one of banishing these aliens who do not belong ― and prevented the unfurling of the Third world war, it destroyed countless cities, destroyed international communication, and killed and starved millions. The Sovereign-class of fast battleships were designed as flagships from the beginning. The design and construction of the lead ship of the class ― UNS Sovereign ― was finished incredibly fast; laid down on the 3rd of March 2099 and commissioned 1st of November 2100. After three years of dutiful service and countless battles, the Sovereign finally met its match and was left with only one option ― self-destruction. And with only a mere press of a button, the pride of humanity and the Human-Siren war were ended ― Sirens forced to retreat to wherever they came from and the Sovereign erased from the surface of the Earth, only remembered through models, photos, and fond memories. But its service has not come to an end, merely continued... ...in a familiar, yet distant world. How will he influence the fate of this unknown world? How will the organization known as Azur Lane react? What will he find? ― Friends? Enemies? Comrades? Or perhaps, something more...
