Over the Wall: A Collection of Short Stories (NaNoWriMo 2014) by emmernemmer

This year for NaNoWriMo, I am writing a short story anthology. It will feature thirty or so short stories (my hope is to write one per day to fulfill my 1,667 per day word requirement) about varying things. Each morning, I will randomly select a number between one and thirty and I will look at the corresponding list of first lines I will have. I will take that line and write a short story using it and then the next day I will do the process over again (some stories might relate to each other, some might not). Anyway I will edit the story for that day and post it here. It may not be posted exactly on the corresponding day, but in the end there will be thirty short stories. P.S. Although these are somewhat edited they are still rough drafts so please treat them as such.

I'd like it to be noted that I began this about September, on a Saturday, at an ungodly hour when I decided to be ambitious. Okiee.. So, this was actually a Performance Task within my ELA class, we needed to come up with a short story, and I came up with this regarding one of my favorite OC's. Now then, this story is a somewhat self insert (For those who don't know what that is, it's basically where you input yourself in a story your writing) But this is an Alternate universe of me, so she's not really ME me-Y'know what I mean? But yea, I hope you enjoy my one-shot (I might add more parts, who knows, the co-teacher REALLY loved it) So yea, I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing this. I am re-writing this and will be posting it on Inkitt because this isn't the worst story on Wattpad, but it DEFINITELY is not my best work. I still love the characters. though, which is why I am trying to work with it. I will leave this one the way it is aside from a few edits here and there. My main Wattpad and Inkitt are @AliyahEzinma. I will post on THIS page when I upload the new version to Inkitt. *** Upper Sixth Form. My last year. Last year of purgatory; Last year of frustration. After this, I'll be free. But I still have a year left - an entire, blasted year. All I need is a distraction; a nice, sexy little distraction that goes by the name of Laura Thomas. I may not know what she has planned for me yet, but goddámn, am I ready to find out.
