    Luna Brown is the only daughter of Nora Brown, nee Black and Oliver Brown. She recently moved to the Quileute tribe in La Push Reservation, Washington, from Gold Coast, Australia, because her mother had a new job opportunity at Forks.
    
    Luna has a secret that her parents don't know. Her secret is that she can transform into a mermaid whenever water touches her body. It happened during her fifteenth birthday when she and her friends stumbled upon a mysterious cave on an abandoned island. 
    
    On Luna's first day at the Quileute Tribe, she saw a young man about to get eaten by a shark. Seeing that he isn't swimming away, she has decided to scare the shark to rescue him.
    
    However, Luna doesn't know that she saved a wolf shapeshifter's life, and that person is no other than Jared Cameron.
