Tommy has been in Dreams strings for over a week now. Dream was set on in fulfilling his promise. He killed and revived Tommy over and over again until he felt numb all over.
The hair that used to be a sun-kissed color turned into a white color while his skin turned light ivory.
While he and Dream were walking, he noticed a plant he remembered called Cosmos. Dream was in a good mood and let Tommy keep the flower without much thought.
Never thinking that the single flower could make all his plans and strings on Tommy fall all apart.

I was too late
Tommy did it, he jumped into the warm welcoming lava. If only Dream was a little sooner, maybe he just might be able to save him, but he was too late....now he'll have to see that his actions and his way of thinking can take others to point of hurting themselves. Tommy finally found him by the beach. They hadn't been back there in what felt like forever, it seemed like years ago Tommy had found the older male injured and bleeding in the forest. "So, you've been here all day," The blonde said to announce his presence but the other didn't seem to notice or bother signaling he did. Tommy took a careful step forward but stopped a few feet away from the seated male. "Everyone's been worried," "They shouldn't be," Dream said softly. Tommy frowned. He took notice the other's mask was resting on the ground to his left and felt his confusion rise. "Why not?" He decided to humor the other. Dream sighed heavily and looked up to the sky causing his hood to pool around his shoulders. "Am I a bad person, Tommy?" The teen's heart stopped, Dream went on. "Did I really do all those bad things?" His head lowered once more and his shoulders shook slightly. "How bad did I hurt you?" He whispered. Cross-posted from AO3 under the same username.
