ANIRUDH ROY CHOUDHURY,a twenty one year old,gold medalist Barrister, the eldest son of Zamindar who returned to his country to bring some changes in the patriarchal society, to change the orthodox and conservative mindset of people of his country.
One a dreadful night he was forced to marry a 8 years old curious, tyrant girl named BONDITA DAS to save her from being Sati. he vowed to take her responsibilty for lifetime and make her indipendent but was not ready to except her as his wife.
As their journey started, gradually Anirudh-Bondita became each other's support system and they fought together with the male dominated society to bring change.
