Jade is a soul girl. Not quite dead but also not alive. A ghost, people call her from time to time. All thanks to a deal between a stranger and her desperate mother. Now she has so serve him whenever he calls her.
Together with her friend and guardian, Makaveli, she travels across the country in order to find her sister who shares her fate.
But life has different plans for her. Or is it death who calls for her services?
