Katsuki Bakugo, UA student, aiming to be the number one hero, has a problem. Izuku Midoriya has been brighter than usual and it's been making Bakugo feel warm and light inside. This pissed him off. Especially since everyone else seemed to want the cheery green-haired, clumsy idiot. With these strange new feelings, Bakugo has discovered that he feels no resentment towards the boy he grew up with. Instead, he wants to pull Midoriya closer, hide him away and protect him. He wanted that smiled aimed at him more often instead of half and half or stupid floaty girl. But he couldn't say that to the clumsy idiot. Katsuki Bakugo just wanted to clutch the boy in his arms... [I listened to the song Green by Cavetown and somehow thought up this fanfiction. The song doesn't have anything to do with the story. (Though I guess the meaning and overall what this story is about is similar..)] Desc: Bakugo and Midoriya have a complicated relationship. To best friends, to bully and victim, to rivals and now.. Strangers? Yeah, Strangers is what you'd call them now. After an argument, Bakugo and Midoriya stop talking to each other. Nobody knows why or how it happened. Bakugo stops calling Midoriya, "Deku," and refers to his real name. Midoriya stops calling Bakugo, "Kacchan," and calls him Bakugo. Nobody is brave enough to question it, and it never gets addressed. Eventually, that becomes the norm. Bakugo and Midoriya CAN cooperate in lessons now, so the teachers say nothing. Bakugo and Midoriya don't fight anymore ̶(̶T̶h̶e̶y̶ ̶n̶e̶v̶e̶r̶ ̶t̶a̶l̶k̶ ̶a̶n̶y̶m̶o̶r̶e̶.̶)̶, so nobody says anything. It's all for the better, right? Well, that's what they tell themselves. But deep down, Bakugo and Midoriya hate it. They hate how they've ended up like this. So.. Maybe that's why Bakugo decides to apologize in the end.
