Nano powers are special and, as far as I know, I am the only one left. It gives me the ability to control other peoples' minds, which is exceptionally hard for me because I am only fifteen. No one can know about my powers though, except for Maxie. There are different and evil people out there. Lots more now that the war has happened. Most people want to hunt us down, or turn us in to the government. Who knows what could happen if someone did. I can risk that happening. Ever.

My life used to be pretty boring. Everything was average. Normal family, normal looks, normal house, normal job, normal life. The only non-boring aspect of my life was my best friend which was only because she always managed to mess it up somehow. I didn't really mind much because it kept things interesting. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else.
