The producers of Girl Meets World have given each actor a long break in between seasons, since they're farther ahead than what was planned in their recording schedule. Still keeping in touch with his friends on the show, Peyton goes home to Nevada to play with his old baseball team for the summer. But when he gets back, he uncovers a little surprise. His first day back playing with his team is also the first day of another player. Alex, a 16 year old GIRL, is asked to play with Peyton's baseball team. A big problem is that she and Peyton are both pitchers and they seem to butt heads.
