Fate Beyond Hell

Arata (#2883): Main character to the story. Sold away to the E.T.U.M (Extermination and Transfer for Undesired Minors) when he was barely two years old. The E.T.U.M is disguised as an orphanage to the underage in the facility. All minors in the facility get a small device planted into the back of their necks. The device holds information like identity number, day of arrival, age of arrival, intelligence levels, and extermination date. The somewhat lucky ones are scheduled to be traded with another facility, T.F.A. (Training Facility for Assasination) in which they will be forced as assassins to hunt runaways or kill those with knowledge about the facilities from E.T.U.M. If those who are chosen to become assassins refuse the job, they will be killed on the spot. These chosen people are given names by the upper ranking assassins to keep their past identities hidden from the minors in E.T.U.M. Sometimes, assassins will go against the facility's rules and help the minors instead. This leaves a huge risk of being killed if caught. Arata is one of those risk-takers. Arata was scheduled to be killed ten years after his arrival at E.T.U.M, but because of his intelligence, the extermination was canceled and he was then transferred to become an assassin. He was aware of the real motive behind the E.T.U.M a few years after arrival, and that wasn't recognized until four the planned extermination. The E.T.U.M is truly a large research facility that tests the capabilities of minors in the situations of confusion and distress, as well as the study of the technology used on the minors in order to gain power over other, larger populations in the future. The T.F.A is much more cruel. There is no refusing the job, and the job consists of killing the minors that they most likely lived with. Any refusal will lead to being killed, and if not killed then having to assassinate innocent kids. This is all for power and wealth. The rest of the world is oblivious to the facilities.
