Hollers erupt through her red-hot ears, the sun shining evilly as she squints through her headgear. Her teeth start to grind in anger at the piece of rubber in her mouth, a curse slipping from her pretty lips.

"Gotta try harder than that, Clark!" The opponent guarding the net yells, lifting off his helmet just above his dark, sweat-smudged eyes. Blue steel eyes piercing her confident, skillful heart. The yellow ball laying calmly in his stick pocket, never once did it swish the old ropes behind him. The bloody 'C' patch glints off his jersey, reminding her exactly who she's dealing with.
