Touching my stomach, I smiled softly. A human being, growing inside of me. I couldn't believe it. Looking up at her, she gave me a smile and leaned against her desk, her hands folded in front of her as she watched me. I was in shock and I sighed with a soft smile. We moved to a different room and began the process of doing the ultra sound. I had thankfully came prepared with drinking two things of water before hand which made things easier for my doctor. I looked at the screen, as she had me lift up my shirt. The gel she put on made me shiver slightly as she gave me an apologetic look. The moment she put the wand on my stomach, I felt my anxiety heighten. That's when I heard the heartbeat, and I laughed softly to myself. It was strange to see such a small human being on the black and white screen. She looked at me and smiled as I watched the screen carefully.
