Barrister Babu
What if a marriage meant to protect slowly turned into something neither of them could name? In 1920s British India, Barrister Anirudh Roy Chowdhury married ten-year-old Bondita to save her from being burned alive. It was meant to be nothing more, until time rewrites everything. Years pass. The child disappears slowly, replaced by a girl whose heart harbors a forbidden longing for her patibabu. But will Anirudh ever see her the same way? Or is their bond forever trapped by the past he cannot escape? A story of blurred lines between two souls bound by fate.
