At the age of just 3 years old little Jacob Millwaki was snatched away from his unsuspecting family. 13 years later he's back with a bit more attitude and a lot more trauma.

This is a mature book. There will be TW at the start of chapters with very heavy topics but there won't be a TW for every chapter so if you read so be aware of that on your own account.
Just as a word of warning I'm Austraian so don't even start with me on my spelling of things like mum and colours or my versions of football and the school system.
Also another warning. This is slightly (only very slightly) inspired by a book I've read on either here or another reading platform but I can not for the life of me find out what the book was called. I can't find it at all it's like it's disappeared. I'm assuming it's been taken down/deleted but I would still like to give a little credit for being somewhat of a guideline to the idea of this story. So if you do happen to know please let me know so I can give the author some credit.

Through the Goalposts
This story has stupidity, student suffering, and suppressed emotions. It follows Lachlan Mills, a 17 year old boy, as he struggles with his last year of high school, expectations, sports (mainly AFL), friendships, feelings, and a whole lot of idiocy. This is set in Australia so I'll defo put glossaries at the end of each chapter in case you don't know what something means. There's a lot of bad language in this, it's pretty realistic for Aussie high schools though so sorry in advance. There are some serious themes like mental health, but a solid amount of humour too. Also this is technically bl, it'll take a while to get there tho but trust. (I will edit this when i figure out the extent of everything this story covers.) Also i migth change this to mature age rating later. Jamie knows there is something that Adrian is hiding. And something he's hiding himself. Jamie is actually gay. It's the reason he's moved so much, because none of his other schools are willing to accept it.Could things change when Jamie realizes he's falling for Adrian? And worse, kids in the town are being kidnapped by a strange van. What will Adrian do once Jamie is one of those kids? ~Yes, this is boyxboy. [OLD] [NOT MEANT TO ROMANTICIZE DEPRESSION OR MENTAL ILLNESS. SIMPLY A TROPE.] Tom isn't your average teen. But then again, what makes a teen average? His family is broken, his mental health is slowly declining, and he's faced questioning his sexuality. Often left to sit in his bed on his phone most of the day, his reasons to live were slowly declining. Tom thought it was better this way. It was better to not disturb anyone, to wear the same clothes over and over, and to stay boring. All, of course, until Tom met him. Updates every Friday. Maybe more days if I'm not busy or I'm motivated to do so. ⚠️ TW ⚠️ -boyxboy (shouldn't be a warning smh) -suicidal thoughts -self harm (cutting, etc) -no smut, probably fluff though -throwing up I didn't take the photo in the cover.
