For a long time Florence DiMaggio was comfortable living her life not socializing with people that weren't immediately close to her, she hadn't planned to change because she didn't mind keeping to herself. Life was predictable, stable, and most of all, safe.
Her family, one friend, her cats, and her 80's music was all she had for a while, until a certain guy stepped into her life and twisted everything she thought she wanted all around until she wasn't sure what she wanted anymore. But she knew one thing, this guy was not letting her go so easily.
This is a story about finding more to the world around you and overcoming life's greatest challenges. With a little love, discomfort, and some secrecy in the mix who knows what could happen.

I started writing this story a while ago, but now I've come back to it with renewed vigor. With that being said, I've edited the parts I already wrote to align more with what I have in mind for this story now. I encourage you to read the story from the beginning if you started reading it a while ago then stopped and are now coming back to it. I am absolutely excited about where this story could go and I would love for you to take the journey with me.

Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. There's always a change, an altering of reality. When you meet those people, the reality that you've known your whole life is suddenly gone and a new one has taken its place. The Unexpected
