Cities drip with poison, and the air itself burns. Pollution is threatening humanity, and the last of the fossil fuels have finally started to run out. When a team of countries decides to devote the last of their resources to launching research missions that might heal the world, others see it as a waste of tools that could be used in prolonging humanity's struggle.
