Charlotte is a young author struggling to get her first work published. When she receives news that a very close family friend of hers has passed, she travels back to her little no-name town for the ceremony. Unexpectedly she is in the will and given more than the actual relatives. She stumbles upon an age-old secret and is spirited away to a strange land where she meets a fairy who will guide throughout the world on her search for a way back home. Upon discovering a dark secret that could ruin everything she is left with a choice: stay and help but be stuck there forever or go home and know that she let the world fall to ruin.
