Sophie Davis is a budding journalist for the New York Times with some serious street cred. She is a professional, no nonsense writer. So when her colleagues go out for happy hour and and joke about doing an expose on reality TV, she is less than amused. But on a drunken dare, she is forced to apply to be on the Bachelor. Never expecting to hear back, Sophie is shocked when the producers of the cheesiest reality show on television come knocking. Forced by her boss to go on the Bachelor for "assignment," Sophie cannot wait for this whole nightmare to be over. Especially since the man she is competing for turns out to be a charmingly handsome idiot. Dr. Nate Cooper isn't quite sure what possessed him to agree to his sister's pleas to go on the Bachelor. A self proclaimed playboy, he hadn't found any women that he wanted to hold any sort of relationship with. When he meets the 25 women vying for his heart, he isn't sure whether he wants to pursue any of them outside the show. Except maybe Sophie, who doesn't even seem to like him. In fact, he is pretty sure he has been friend zoned by her. So why does he keep giving her a rose?
