After the death of her mother Alex lived on the streets, traveling up and down the East Coast. For four years Alex survived on her own, using what mutations she could to her advantage, running into the occasional X-Men.

But after four years on the streets she craved to have a home, a family again. After an encounter with a fellow mutant she finds herself helping the bad guys. But are they really that bad?

Needing a reason for them to accept her, she offers her up to the group of people she would rather die than join. But upon arriving, she realized they weren't entirely what she thought. And after months she found what she had been craving the most. A home.

But they want her back, and she made a promise. Will she return to the cause she believes in? Or will she pick friend over faith?
