With the riddler and cat woman gone and gothem re-built, Bruce finds him self alone fighting crime. With more and more built up anger he becomes more desperate to find someone.
That's when sage comes in. She's an old friend Of Bruce Wayne you could say. Sage is cold and challenging living alone in her apartment and it just so happens that the batman lurks around there more often than he should.
