Talon is a young griffin who is waiting for an opportunity to earn his true name.
He decides to earn his name by defeating the giants who are taking over different territories, including griffin territory.
He was planning to wait until his next hatchday, but after his home is destroyed and he is separated from his family he decides to attack.
He decides he will travel to the giant kings home and defeat him in a battle for his homeland.
On his journey he will meet friends and see more than he could ever dream of.
