""Who's the Hokage?" The stranger asks eventually.

"...Sarutobi Hiruzen?" Minato answers slowly.

"Why do you sound uncertain about it?" The stranger looks at Minato like he's a dumb animal, and honestly, Minato feels a bit like a dumb animal because he has absolutely no fucking clue what's going on."

Motivation. For anything related to him becoming a hero, Kimura Kazue has none. Zip, zilch, not an ounce. Everyone around him expects him to follow in his father's footsteps. Go to the top hero school in Japan. Join his father's agency to work his way up, then branch off and become even more successful. If he could have his way, Kazue would rather just read manga and tinker around with electronics half the day, then make sure the heroes of the future weren't going to be complete morons. Unfortunately for him, well... if he wants to make that future a reality, he first has to endure Yuei High's heroics course. Parent permission slips are a pain in the ass.
